What sparked your interest in photography? What continues to hold your interest today?
While traveling to India in 2010, I found my love for photography. I was working in the leprosy colonies, and it was the first time I captured raw emotion in a photo rather than just an image.2010, I found my love for photography. I was working in the leprosy colonies, and it was the first time I captured raw emotion in a photo rather than just an image.
When deciding what path I wanted choose in photography (weddings, families, commercial, fashion, etc.), I chose weddings.
I love that two people choose to love each other & devote the rest of their lives to each other. I feel lucky to capture the beginning of their love story. I can honestly say that every wedding I have been a part of was real honest love. That’s what keeps me inspired and holds my interest today. I still can’t believe I get to do what I love for a living.
Tell us about the greatest wedding you shot. What made it so?
It’s too hard to choose just one. I have shots from every wedding that I fall in love with. I love romantic honest images and those are always my favorites.
Where do you want to shoot next?
I would love to shoot a wedding in Europe! The charming architecture, cobblestone streets, and soft colorpalettes are dreamy. I have a wedding in Switzerland this summer and can’t wait!
