One creative way to shoot and add more motion to your photographs is to “pan” the camera while taking a photograph of something moving. Panning involves physically moving and following your subject as it is passing by in front of you.
A few things to consider when panning a shot with your phone camera. First, it is best to shoot in low light so the camera is forced to have a slower shutter speed which helps in blurring the background. This could be in shade, when its cloudy or right before or after the sun is setting. Second, make sure your subject is moving parallel to the camera. If it is coming towards you or away from you the technique will not work as well. With some practice you will see the technique works very well!
